8th TPO Network World Conference and Awards– Mexico, 2010
The 8th World Conference of the Trade Promotion Organizations (TPO) Network was hosted by ProMéxico, in Mexico City from 13 to 15 October 2010.

The theme for the 8th World Conference was ‘BUILDING EXPORT SUCCESS: Enhancing TPO Impact in a changing Global Environment’. The Conference explored solutions for TPOs to meet the increasing pressure from their stakeholders to demonstrate their impact. Key issues covered are: the design of effective TPO service offers which further competitiveness and increase exports; and crucially methodologies and mechanisms to record and report on impact.
More than 200 participants from 60 countries joined in two days of intensive discussion and debate. They exchanged experiences, knowledge and best practices, and focused on practical solutions to stimulate export-led economic growth.
To fully benefit from having TPOs gathered from around the world, the Conference also explored the future of the world TPO Network, its objectives, governance and structure. As at previous Conferences, the TPO Network Awards was presented at a gala dinner on the first evening.
The 2010 World Conference was held at the Camino Real Polanco hotel in Mexico City.
